Most designers think in screens. I think in structures - a habit from five years training as an architect, where the best spaces are the ones you move through without noticing. That instinct is still how I design products: get the structure right, and the screen mostly takes care of itself.

I work across design systems and end-to-end product design, and I care as much about what sits underneath a screen as what's on it. I make decisions from evidence rather than assumption. My MSc looked at why people trust what an interface shows them, and that question still shapes how I work.

I'm drawn to complex, high-stakes problems, the kind where a confusing screen has real consequences and considered design can quietly change someone's day. Lately that has meant restructuring a design system across 30+ products, and building two products of my own from the ground up, working closely with engineers and, increasingly, with AI in the loop.

I'm based in London. Outside of work you'll find me experimenting with veg recipes, taking photos, or building something small for the fun of it: websites, lego, the occasional side project.
